Group Workshop
Lost Wax Jewellery Carving
$300
You'll carve your design directly into wax — sculpting, shaping, refining — until it's exactly what you had in mind. We send it off to be cast in sterling silver (or, for a little extra, whatever metal takes your fancy). The result is a one-of-a-kind piece that only exists because you made it.

Private Workshop
Wedding Bands
$900
There's something different about wearing a ring that your partner made by hand. In this workshop, the two of you will carve each other's wedding bands in wax — then we'll cast them in your metal of choice. An experience that's as meaningful as the rings themselves.

What to expect
Here's how a session at Third Person goes.
Arrive & settle in
The studio is small on purpose. You'll meet your group, get introduced to the tools, and have everything explained before you touch a thing. No rush, no pressure.
Start carving
You'll be given a block of jeweller's wax and a set of tools. From here, it's yours. We're here to guide, answer questions, and help you get unstuck but the design decisions are all you.
Refine your piece
The wax is forgiving — you can add, remove, and reshape as you go. Most people surprise themselves with what they make.
Send it off to be cast
Once you're happy with your piece, we take care of the rest. Your wax carving gets sent off to be cast in sterling silver (or your chosen metal). We'll finish it off and polish it up. You'll receive your finished ring in the mail within a few weeks.

FAQ
Do I need any experience?
None at all. The lost wax method is surprisingly intuitive, and we walk you through everything from the start.
What metal will my ring be cast in?
Most people go with sterling silver, which is included in the workshop price. If you'd like your ring cast in gold or another metal, we can arrange that — just an additional cost on top.
How long until I get my ring?
After your session, your wax carving is sent off for casting. Allow around 2–4 weeks to receive your finished piece in the mail.
Can I bring a friend?
Absolutely — and if you book together, you'll save 10%.
What if I make a mistake?
That's part of it. The wax is easy to rework, and most "mistakes" end up being interesting design choices. We'll help you figure it out.
Is the workshop suitable for groups?
The Lost Wax workshop takes up to 10 people, so it works well for birthdays, hens parties, and team events. Head to the Groups page for more info.
