What you'll make
A ring (or pendant, tiny statue, whatever you want) carved entirely by you and cast in sterling silver. If you'd like it in gold or another metal, we can sort that — just an additional cost.
The session
You'll start with a block of jeweller's wax and a set of carving tools. We'll show you the basics — how to remove material, how to refine edges, how to think about form — and then you're off. The session is guided but not prescriptive. Some people arrive with a clear idea; others figure it out as they go. Both work.
Once you're happy with your carving, we take it from there. Your wax piece goes off to be professionally cast, and your finished ring arrives by post within a few weeks.
