Why lost wax?
Lost wax casting is one of the oldest jewellery making traditions in the world, but somehow it never gets old. You sculpt your design in wax and the final piece gets cast directly from your carving, so what you make is what you get. It's tactile, intuitive, and endlessly customisable. There's no template to follow, no set path, just whatever you can dream up.
The studio
We're based in Redfern, right on the border of Chippendale. We love this zone, its history, and the neighbourhood. We built the space as somewhere we'd want to spend time, and somewhere we'd want people to drop by. Open for learning, collaborating and just hanging out.
We're a short a walk from Redfern station and a slightly longer walk from Central station.
